Ok, 2 weeks to make (theoricaly) 5 seconds of animation gave me plenty of time to explore some nice touches in TV Paint.
It was given a bunch of sounds, we have to choose one as well as one character. I decided to animate Chico from the spanish film "Chico y Rita". Besides, in order to keep the volume of the character in wild movements, I had to make him a bit stronger, so the anatomy gets easier to understand. Secondly, the final version of Chico in the film doesn't appeal me - too realistic style for a too graphic line quality. But I guess the film worth for the nice backgrounds...
Listening to the chosen sound I went for candomble, capoeira and african dance references, hope you like.
